What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a process where a perm which is placed on the brow to straighten the hair and give them a more uniformed look. This will enable the brow technician to set the brows into a new shape. Your brow artist can create arches, extend tails, tame unruly brows and create the latest 'fluffy' brow look. Your brows will then stay in place without the need for any additional brow products for up to 8 weeks.This is the ultimate brow solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry where the hairs follow a different pattern, with brow lamination we can realign the brows in such a way to give them the desired shape you want and a fuller look.

The treatment lasts 6 - 8 weeks and only takes a half hour to have done.

Will it damage my brows?

Perming is a delicate process and when done incorrectly there is a risk of brow hair being over processed.  This isn't long term damage however it won't be a good experience to have to wait to regrow your brows.  That is why training is so important and we advise client to make sure you see a qualified Brow Lamination technician who has trained in the brand they are using as all brands have different methods in brow lamination. This will ensure the technician carries out a safe perm on your brows.

Do I need any Maintenance / Aftercare?

This is a low maintenance treatment although you do need to take care of your brows once you have had them laminated. You will need to use a brow serum daily or weekly depending on your brow hair health. This will ensure your brows stay healthy and strong. You don't want your brows drying out as this can cause them to become brittle and break (the same way your head hair gets dry and frizzy after perming or colouring it without any aftercare, your brows do need looking after too) Your Brow technician will be able to recommend a good after care serum for you. Alternatively you can purchase the London brow Keratin Boost especially for Brow Lamination.
