Your Brow Lamination Questions Answered - The London Brow Company

When Brow Lamination Goes Wrong - Troubleshooting

Brow lamination troubleshooting starts with two questions: what has happened to the brow hair or skin, and was the exact product protocol followed? Different systems use different timings, removal methods and repeat-treatment guidance, so always work from the current instructions for the products used.

How Soon Can Brow Lamination Be Repeated?

Do not use a universal number of weeks for every client or every system. Assess the brow hair and follow the current repeat-treatment guidance for the lamination system used. If the hair appears compromised, do not simply laminate again to correct the appearance.

Why Do Brows Look Curly, Wavy or Crispy After Lamination?

An unexpected texture can indicate that the hair has been over-processed or otherwise compromised. Review application amount, processing time, removal and neutralising stages against the exact product instructions. Do not apply additional chemical processing simply to try to straighten the hair again.

Use gentle grooming and suitable cosmetic conditioning while the brow grows through its natural cycle. Cosmetic aftercare should not be described as repairing or reforming chemical bonds.

Why Has Brow Hair Broken or Shed After Lamination?

Breakage can have several causes, including over-processing, unsuitable timing for the hair type, incomplete product removal or mechanical stress. With London Brow PRO, follow our current wet-removal protocol carefully and make sure Step 1 is thoroughly removed before progressing.

Hair loss can also have causes unrelated to the lamination service. Significant or unexplained loss should not automatically be diagnosed as a treatment problem; where appropriate, advise the client to seek professional healthcare advice.

What If the Starts and Tails Are Finer Than the Main Brow?

Different areas of a brow can have different hair density and texture. A trained professional should assess the hair and use the product protocol and timing guidance appropriate to the system rather than assuming every section needs identical processing.

What If the Client Develops Irritation, Redness or a Burn?

Stop the service if the client develops an unexpected reaction during treatment and follow the product's current safety instructions. Do not continue applying chemical product to irritated or damaged skin. Persistent, severe or worsening symptoms require appropriate medical advice.

Do not diagnose new eczema or another skin condition from appearance alone.

Why Won't the Brows Stay in Position?

Brow lamination changes how the natural hairs can be styled, but it does not permanently fix every hair into one position. Results vary with hair growth pattern, texture, the treatment performed and daily grooming. A suitable brow-setting product can be used cosmetically where appropriate.

Why Didn't the Brow Lamination Lift?

Review consultation, hair type, product quantity, application, processing and the current manufacturer instructions. Avoid automatically extending timings or repeating the chemical service without assessing the hair first.

London Brow PRO Troubleshooting

If you are using London Brow PRO, use the current PRO instructions as your primary treatment reference, including our wet-removal protocol. Professionals can also explore our brow lamination range and professional training.

When troubleshooting another manufacturer's system, follow that manufacturer's instructions rather than applying London Brow timings or removal methods to a different formulation.
