All three steps need to be sealed with micropore tape and then placed in an airtight container for maximum shelf life once opened.
Step 1 can be stored for 7 to 10 days.
Step 2 can be stored for up to 14 days.
Step 3 can be stored for up to 30 days.
Step 1 and 2 contain chemicals that are needed to start and stop the perming process; these chemicals degrade when introduced to air. Although storing them correctly sealed can prolong the life of the product, the longer you leave them stored (after opening) the less effective they will become.
