London LashFixx™ Step by Step Instructions

Important:

• Always perform a patch test before treatment.
• Apply Step 1 from base to tip of lashes - Cysteamine is safe for full lash application.
• Remove Step 1 thoroughly and clean the eye before Step 2.
• Follow recommended timings, adjusting for lash type.

Method 1 – Lashes Down (No Shield)

1. Prep: Clean lashes thoroughly to remove makeup, oils, or residue. Comb lashes to separate.
2. Step 1 – Lifting Cream: Apply Step 1 from base to tip of all lashes using a micro  brush.  Leave on 6–12 minutes (fine lashes shorter, coarse lashes longer).
3. Remove Step 1 & Clean: Wipe lashes thoroughly with a damp cotton pad. Clean the eye area gently avoid over working lashes.
4. Apply lifting shield - Select the correct size and shape silicone lash lifting shield for your clients lash length and apply to the lash lid.  Secure with lash lift adhesive or glue balm if adhesive free shields are not being used.
5. Step 2 – Fixing Solution + Lash Lift Powder: Mix 1 part lifting powder : 2 parts Step 2 solution. Apply over lashes, lifting gently from base to tip to secure lashes on lifting shield. Leave on 8 minutes.
6. Step 3 : Apply Step 3 or London Brow Doctor for 5 minutes.
7. Finishing: Remove any residue, brush lashes into shape, dry with a lash fan and advise client: no water, steam, or makeup for 24 hours.

Method 2 – Silicone Shield Lifting

Option A – Powder mixed in Step 2

1. Prep & Shield Placement: Choose the correct silicone shield size. Apply shield gently to the eyelid with adhesive.
2. Step 1 – Lifting Cream + Powder: Mix 1 part lifting powder : 1 part Step 1 cream and apply from base to tip of all lashes securing lashes to lash pad. Leave on 6–12 minutes.
3. Do the lash test to see when Step 1 is ready to be removed from lashes.
4. Remove Step 1 & Clean: Wipe lashes thoroughly and clean the eye.
5. Step 2 – Fixing Solution + Lash Lift Powder: Mix 1 part lifting powder : 2 parts Step 2 solution. Apply over lashes, lifting gently from base to tip to secure lashes to lifting shield. Leave on 8 minutes.
6. Step 3 : Apply Step 3 or London Brow Doctor for 5 minutes.
7. Finishing: Remove any residue, brush lashes into shape, dry with a lash fan and advise client: no water, steam, or makeup for 24 hours.
   

Option B – Ultra-Thin Shield Method (Powder in Step 1 & Step 2)

1. Prep & Ultra-Thin Shield Placement: Place ultra-thin shield on eyelid with gentle adhesive.
2. Step 1 – Lifting Cream + Powder: Mix 1 part lifting powder : 1 part Step 1 cream and apply from base to tip of all lashes. Leave on 6–12 minutes.
3. Remove Step 1 & Thin Shield: Gently remove the ultra-thin shield and wipe lashes thoroughly. Clean the eye before applying the curved shield ready for step 2.
4. Curved Shield Placement: Choose the shield size based on the desired look, lift, and client’s lash length. Apply curved shield with gentle adhesive.
5. Step 2 – Fixing Solution + Lash Lift Powder: Mix 1 part lifting powder : 2 parts Step 2 solution. Apply over lashes, lifting gently from base to tip to secure lashes to lifting shield. Leave on 8 minutes.
6. Step 3 : Apply Step 3 or London Brow Doctor for 5 minutes.
7. Finishing: Remove any residue, brush lashes into shape, dry with a lash fan and advise client: no water, steam, or makeup for 24 hours.
   

Timings for London LashFixx Cysteamine System

Step 1 Lifting Cream

Fine Lashes 7-9 minutes 
Normal Lashes 9-11 minutes
Coarse Lashes 11-14 minutes

Do your halfway time lash checks and your final lash checks to assess the development of the lashes correctly.  This will help achieve a strong lift and avoid over processing.

Tips & Key Notes

• Step 1 Removal: Essential to remove fully to prevent irritation and ensure Step 2 works effectively.
• Powder: Only mix according to the method; enhances lift and adhesion. Too much powder can cause clumping and under processing.
• Shield Sizes: The final lift depends on the shield size and client’s lash length and the quality of the lash wrap.
• Aftercare: Client should avoid water, steam, and makeup for 24 hours.
